There is a beautiful garden at our farm tucked under the overgrowth and slowly we are peeling off all the layers and I can tell you that it is very satisfying. My previous gardens were nonexistent so I had to start from scratch with a flat bare blank canvas. I had to plant trees and now I have to cut down trees to give the many trees the space they deserve and need.

For example this massive weeping willow we saved from laurel bushes that over the years turned into laurel trees. We are going to leave the stems of the laurels and hopefully they will sprout again so we can shape them back to bushes.

What also changed in the new garden is that we are on clay ground instead of sand ground and the climate is also completely different, it’s almost 10 degrees celsius cooler over here. I hardly have to water the garden and still everything is growing and blooming like crazy. I love it!

I can now actually have pretty useful things instead of ugly hardwearing practical things. The garden hoses from LIVLIG have been on my wish list for ages but as we worked with thick garden hoses in the past to pump up groundwater I couldn’t use them.
